A note from Pastor Amy: While writing a bulletin announcement welcoming children in worship I came across this beautiful blog post. It affirms how very hard it is on parents to bring children to worship (I know- during summers and breaks at Luther I spent more time in the pews with my kids then most pastors!). It also lifts up how very much the church needs the noise and disruptions of all of God’s children to be a whole body. I’m praying that the parents and grandparents who worship at Good Shepherd will feel supported in the important work of bringing kids to worship.
