Flock Ministry

The Flock Ministry is a way of organizing our congregation into a set of seven Flocks for care, connection, and service, especially regarding service that will strengthen the worship, hospitality, and fellowship ministry of the congregation. There are 7 flocks led by Shepherds. The Flocks, their next month of service, and their Shepherds are as follows:

Assisting Minister: Reads prayers and serves communion during service. Meets with Presiding Minister at 9:00 am to review service flow.

Reader/Lector: Reads scriptures during the service. Meets with Presiding Minister at 9:00 am to review service flow.

Ushers: Arrive at 9:00 am to greet worshippers. Check in with the Pastor for any special instructions for the day. Review usher notes on the counter near the offices upon arrival. 

Greeters: Greet worshippers, hand out bulletins before the service

Fellowship:

Food Setup – Brings food, starts coffee before worship, sets out food to serve, doesn’t need to stay

Food Cleanup – Brings food, washes dishes, cleans tables, doesn’t need to come early

Additional Food – Brings food
