A Good Shepherd gift to the community – “Welcome Neighbors” picnic (great food, great music, great fellowship) will be Sunday, Sept. 7th from 5 until 6:30 in our church yard. The WELCOME NEIGHBORS picnic is a FREE community celebration in which ALL NEIGHBORS in the area are welcome. In its 4th year, the picnic has been a great success with over 200 people attending each year. The Evangelism committee will supply hot dogs and buns, drinks and tableware. We are asking congregants to supply various hot dishes, salads, desserts, and condiments. A sign-up sheet for congregants is on the conference table near the church narthex. Thank you in advance to Good Shepherd for once again demonstrating “God’s work – Our Hands” in your support of this “no hidden agenda” gift to the community.
