Bunice Darlene Heidtke, 81, of Decorah, IA, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 12 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Decorah with Pastor Amy Larson officiating

Visitation begins on Monday at 10:00 a.m., one hour before the service, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  Fjelstul Funeral Home is responsible for arrangements.

Sunday School will resume for the 2016-17 school year with Rally Sunday on September 11th.  Sunday School classes will begin at 10:45 am, and all children are welcome to join us!

Everyone is invited to attend Good Shepherd’s 7th annual Welcome Friends and Neighbors picnic to be held from 5:00-6:30 pm in the congregation’s backyard.  There will be good food (with an emphasis on local food), live music by local musicians, including the Good Shepherd Band, games for kids and a marshmallow roast – a time for fun, food and conversation.  Invite your friends and neighbors as the picnic is free and open to all!
