The Memorial Service for Pastor Joan Mau will be held at First Lutheran Church, Decorah, IA, on June 4, at 1:00 pm; a reception will follow. Pastor Chad Huebner will officiate; Brooke Joyce will serve as organist. Good Shepherd Choir members are invited to join First Lutheran’s choir for the service; a joint rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday evening at 7:00
Visitation is Wednesday evening, June 3, from 5:00 -7:00, at Fjelstul Funeral Home. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
Good Shepherd will join with First Lutheran in serving and providing food for the reception. Contact Bev Sheridan if you are able to help.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pastor Joan Mau who was involved in a fatal car accident Sunday morning, May 24, in Fayette County. She was was returning from conducting Pentecost Worship Services at West Clermont Lutheran Church. Her car drifted across the center line and hit an oncoming semi-truck. Fjelstul Funeral Home is handling arrangements. A full obituary and information about services will be forthcoming. Pastor Mau served as pastor of Good Shepherd from 1999-2014.
