New Screen for Garbage Can Area

Jerry with completed screen

Great and profuse thanks to Jerry Frank, member of the Property and
Management Committee, for creating the gorgeous new screen behind the
Fellowship Hall which shields our garbage area from public view. The cedar screen, stained to match the brick of the building, was designed by Jerry and Kris Frank. A generous contribution from Harley and Norma Refsal made the screen a reality. New mulch and flowering plants make our back yard and entrance more presentable to those who enter there as well as for our outdoor Wednesday evening worship services, cookouts, and picnics.

Luther Wrestlers Spread Winona Rock

IMG_2917On Tuesday, June 7, Luther wrestlers and rising seniors Tristan Zurfluh and Hans Holkesvik  helped move Winona rock delivered by Pinter’s Landscaping.  Using wheelbarrows, they moved the rock where it was delivered from the parking lot to beds in front of the church where it was spread by Landscape Committee members Norma Refsal and Jane Kemp.  This is the first top dressing of the beds done since they were created several years ago.
