April 24th: Discussion around gun violence:
- Joann Hagen, member of the Decorah Friends Meeting, and Julie Fischer, member of the NE Iowa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Decorah, will present the program, which includes a DVD on gun violence followed by discussion. Both Hagen and Fischer are active volunteers of the Peace and Justice Center.
May 1st: Mission Endowment Fund Forum
- The Mission Endowment Fund Committee will hold its annual Adult Forum, which will include a powerpoint presentation on the future of the Good Shepherd EPIC (Education Partners in Covenant) ministry of providing matching grants, followed by open discussion and questions.
May 8th: Mission Green
- Discussion and open forum with Jim & Liz Fritz around the Mission Green Carbon Neutral Initiative at Good Shepherd
