Ministry and Communications Coordinator
Position Summary: The Ministry & Communications Coordinator assists the Pastor, and works collaboratively with the Church Staff and congregation members to fulfill the everyday function of the Church as well as the needs that arise through the calendar year. This position serves as the go-to person for managing communications between committees and the congregation. The creation of publications (bulletins, monthly newsletters, social media posts, special event posters, etc.) falls under this position. Director of Children and Youth Ministry
Immediate Opening-Part Time Position
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church ELCA, Decorah, Iowa, seeks a leader for ministry with children and youth, ages Pre-K through High School.
The Director serves the wider mission of the congregation, creating, coordinating, and directly participating with children and youth in programs of learning, service, and faith formation along with the Pastor and the Education and Youth Committee.
Applicants should have knowledge of the Lutheran faith; experience with children and youth activities and programs is desired. Audio/Visual Operator:
Position Summary: The AV operator is present from 9 AM to 11 AM Sunday mornings at Good Shepherd. They are responsible for operating the sound in the Sanctuary and running and maintaining the visual and audio for the YouTube stream. This position also necessitates the ability to troubleshoot in real time any issues that arise with the sound and video. Click here for full description and instructions on how to apply.
