George and Martha Monson Lowe will speak on the topic “Palestinian Art as Nonviolent Resistance in the Land Called Holy”. They will share their personal experiences from their times teaching and living in Bethlehem and East Jerusalem. The focus of their presentation will be on Palestinian visual arts as a form of personal expression and nonviolent resistance to the occupation.
